actually had the picture done for awhile, but waited to upload since the xmas designs were so popular lol

So. Because she is the most amazing and awesome person, *Jullelin offered a breeding with any RDS horses. Any. Including dead ones. Gawd. I am still in shock due to that. I have to say, this year is the best year concerning gifts in my life. And since I didn`t get much in real life, you, my fellow harpg players should be proud of yourselves.

This gift took a lot of thinking through. My first thoughts were of course, the legendary Brisk Brigand and Devil Wears Prada, but I knew from the start I wanted a jumper. So of course, we come to the amazing Loucort`ee and his offsprings. Tracing that line a bit I found Sherlock, who not only is an indirect offspring of Loucourt`ee but also of Brisk Brigand. What more could you wish for, eh? XD The mare was a very easy pick, since I had my eye on her for a while. The daughter of YFS Absint, RDS Frozen Liquid.

And thus, we got DNS Simbelmynë

Yes, I know the name seems to have nothing to do with the parents` and that`s partly true. I tried mixing up Sherlock and Frozen Liquid but I couldn`t get anything that wouldn`t sound ridiculous. So, I chose another approach. Sherlock was named (I believe XD) after a TV series, so I thought, hey, is there something good on the TV lately? HELLYES! The Hobbit.

So, going back to my Middle Earth obsession, I stumbled upon Simbelmynë. A white flower.. that`s fit for a girl. And it grows on the burial mounds of the Rohan Kings, which fits perfectly since we were offered a breeding with deceased legends and this little filly "grew" from that. Lastly, the translated name "Evermind" is a reference to the plant's blossoming during the whole of the year - "the Evermind that knows no season and withers not" - which I find pretty romantic and inspiring.

Gawd I get so emotional over my obsessions .. if I could do this over school essays, my grade in language would be a whole lot higher LOL

So yes, I put a bit of my obsession into this filly, and mind you, that guarantees I`ll love her even if just for that (but seriously, look at her, that couldn`t possibly the only reason! She`s gorgeous!)

I`ll post a picture soon on which she will be more visible, but until then this one will have to do. ~~I missed drawing rays and overly-bright light sources. I still hate drawing snow.~~
