gawd .. I can just say .. I am not as satisfied with this as I could be ..I mean by the work I put in .. WHY do I fail at everything lately? Surely it`s coz I miss ~LittleHorseSoul and her cooozy big house with a bitchy computer, bass guitar and baby bunnies. :nuu:

And yep, felt like I haven`t done the "rays and highlights" type of picture for ages and didn`t know what else to do when the shading turned out like crap. I actually drew an arena, fence and audience, but it simply didn`t look well with the lighting and the perspective. It was all there, but my muse decided it ruins the picture. :XD:

One more pic left, than just the extras if I will feel like it and I`m free. :dummy:


BTW for the previous entries .. I couldn`t find all of the original show journals, so I either linked the result journals, or promo pictures by hosts to prove they existed. For one show (TES HARPG Fall Event) I couldn`t find the journal at all. I guess the host deleted it, but that shouldn`t make the event entry count any less. I`m sorry, but that`s just not my fault. :roll:

The little trail ride did absolutely no good. Evy was still cranky as hell if not even worse, bitching at everything and everyone. To make things even worse, she saw some of the other contestants and among them were some famous names which could be a bit of a competition for Dummy. She didn`t care much about winning usually, but this was a competition where she just didn`t want to end up on 2nd place for the sake of Dummy`s career. However not that she did anything about it. She tacked and warmed up Dummy like usually before giving a call to DNS to bitch a bit to the poor soul who happened to pick up the phone - Luka XD. If anything, some not-so-good news from DNS made her nearly throw her phone to the ground and it was just pure luck for the phone that Dummy`s head was on the way in that one second of rage XD. And for the absolute hating of the world for Evy, weather turned bad as well. It was cloudy, but warm ... the kind of weather she simply hated. She continued riding on after biting her lip for some self control, before setting to the actual arena for the talent phase. Of course it was show jumping for Dummy, what else. A high course was set up for them, but it looked like something that shouldn`t give them any problems, considering the experience and wins they already had in their pocket. Evy pushed Dummy into canter and turned to the first jump. She didn`t even pay much attention to the course, it became such a routine for her. And she was annoyed as hell, just waiting to get it over with as soon as possible ... but that didn`t mean she would simply let a rail fall .. only over her dead body.

First off, please ignore the fact that this comment is 6 days late. I've been waiting until I can actually devote some time to focus on it fully and write out my thoughts clearly, without distraction.

The atmosphere created by this piece is astonishing. There are only a few artists who can capture emotion in their lighting, and you are one of them. It is so serious, so dramatic, so tense. The focus on both of their faces is incredible. Evy is so well proportioned and fabulously posed. Dummy is as gorgeous and breathtaking as ever. I love the brightness of her eyes. The tightness of her tuck is so fabulously executed. I love how arched you can tell she is about to be. The space between Evy and the saddle shows that so well. And now for my absolute favorite part of this piece. The shading! You use vector shading in such an incredibly realistic way. The bulging of every muscle is so gorgeous. And the way you use those little hashes to highlight is so unique! I've never seen anyone do that before, and I love it! This is definitely one of your most outstanding pieces. I think the minimal background adds to the drama of the piece. And if you did a full background it would be too busy. It would definitely have detracted from all of the details on the subjects. I love how you worked in the Slovenian flag on the saddle pad. ^^
