Drawing prizes will follow soon! Please no sore losers! I tried to judge fairly as possible and objectively, everyone got very many points for effort and the rng was generous too (I was surprised!). You lost points at stories and rules most of the time.

Yes deadline was supposed to be today but I decided to give you another day as I won't be home tomorrow anyways and won't be able to judge. So yep, you have one more day to finish your entries and I'll be closing this tomorrow evening
Welcome to the Dragon Nest Stables`s End Of Winter Dressage Cup!
The staff has decided it is time for another event here at DNS. Winter is slowly coming to an end, there is still snow all around but just for the occasion, our outdoor dressage arena will be cleared of snow and set up for competition!
This is a freestyle event, so bring only your experienced horses and riders.

Weather and place:The event will be held in the outdoor dressage arena, which is located in the middle of the DNS castle yard, surrounded by buildings. Surface is light sand, the dressage fence that will be set up is white and has two moderately thin rails. At every letter stand (on the ground, rectangular) a flower pot with pink flowers will be set. Behind the arena stands a small (about 2m of height difference) artificially-made hill that runs around the arena - creates an oval all around (except at the entrance, the hill slowly levels down on both sides to create a gap for the entrance - about 5m wide gap) and on it grow willows and cherry trees that mostly cover the buildings behind them. The buildings are made of light grey stone, have a dark brown roof and big tall windows, if you decide to draw them. Everything is covered with snow and the trees don't have any leaves.

Summary:Light sand surface, low white two-rail fence, white rectangular letter stands on the ground (see ref.), white pots with pink flowers at every letter stand (see ref.), snowy hill behind the fence (see ref.), a lot of trees on the hill (see ref.) sunrise.

GENERAL RULES -No premade linearts, free linearts or old entries. All art must be created specifically for this event.
-No tracing allowed (skeleton tracing is allowed but give credit where credit is due). If I catch you with a traced entry you will instantly be disqualified.
-Full photo-backgrounds are not allowed, but you are allowed to make a smaller portion of your background using a photo. However, you will get less points for it.
-You don`t have to be HARPG registered, but an active RP stable is a must.
-The show will be judged by effort and creativity, so don`t submit sketches.
-Respect attire requirements and class rules, otherwise you will lose points.
-Unnatural horse breeds are allowed, but must not use any special powers to help them win the event
-Draw your horse and rider performing a dressage figure or gait. If you draw your horse miss-behaving it will not affect your score, however if you write in the story that they didn't finish their performance, it will be disqualification
-Link your chosen music to the performance in the description under your entry.
-Bonus images/past entries/training images will not bring you any points. You may of course draw bonus images for the sake of own story-lines or role-plays, but they will not bring you extra points. Only event entry is judged and affects your placing.
-Send me your entries in a note, titled "End Of Winter Dressage Cup" before the deadline. No pre-registration needed.

Dragon Nest Stable's End Of Winter Dressage Cup This is a musical freestyle event, so only experienced horses should enter. The horse and rider will be judged based on their execution and correctness of gaits and figures, their harmony, the flow of their performance, and how well they set up their performance with music (music is a MUST!)
Minimal horse age: 5
Minimal rider age: 18
Requested rider attire: Competition jacket (preferably black, but stable colour allowed if it is dark), white competition breeches, black tall boots, top hat, white gloves. Spurs are optional, whips are forbidden.
Requested horse attire: Appropriate dressage tack, either dark brown or black leather, white saddlepad (may have colour edge), with your stable's country flag in the corner. Horses should wear double bits, but you can also use a soft normal bit if you ASK first. Gaiters are forbidden, but bandages are allowed. It's still cold outside, so earmuffs will not be needed as there are no flies around.

JUDGING: Entry:Effort - up to 40 points (attention to detail, quality of art compared to your own gallery ...)
Background - up to 10 points (5 if all is correct, another 5 for details/effort etc. ... )
Story - up to 20 points (creativity, is it interesting, how does it relate to the picture? ...)
Creativity - up to 15 points (did you try something new, is your drawing unique, does it stand out amongst the others ...)
RNG - up to 5 points (random.org)
Following rules - 5 points (10 if all rules are followed)
Chosen music - 5 points (is it appropriate, does it correspond with your picture ...)
Max. possible: 100 points = 100% marks for dressage test
The competitor with the highest % score wins.
As said above, extra pictures will not bring you any points.
